01 — The problem

When the sky is miserable, everyone in the city is having the same bad day. And nobody is saying it.

AreYouOk asks one question a day. You answer with a slider. It answers with people.

02 — The loop

Ping. Answer. Guess. Reveal.

Four beats, ten seconds, one screen at a time. Twelve weather conditions and the whole interface repaints itself into whichever one is outside — a thunderstorm day and a clear day are two visibly different apps.

each dot is a neighbour · the ringed one is you

And when the neighbourhood cannot decide, it says so — that is the most interesting result the app can produce.

04 — The bird

32 poses. None of them impressed by your weather.

Hand-drawn as open marker strokes and redrawn twelve times a second, so the line never sits still. It reacts to people, not to thermometers: every sky has one bird for when the crowd agrees it is awful and one for when the crowd is fine about it, plus eight for what happens inside the app. Here are eight of them.

06 — The fine print, large

No account.
Ever.

  • No sign-up, no email, no password.
  • Your location is blurred to about a kilometre before it leaves the phone.
  • Your answers are tied to nothing but a random number your device made up.
  • One notification a day at most, and only when the weather has actually done something. Quiet hours. Vacation mode.
  • When the weather turns genuinely dangerous, the jokes switch off on their own. That one is not a setting.

A pack is a skin over the same thirty-two reactions, so a second character is a different bird having the same day. Cosmetic, and that is all it is: the questions, the crowd and the reveal are free and stay free, and a pack you own never stops working.

08 — Ask me the question

Are
you
ok?

Free, no account, one question a day at most. The bird is already outside.
